"Jason you sure you're gonna be okay?" I asked while grabbing my phone. He chuckled to himself while flipping through the channels. "Babe I'll be fine. Gosh I'm in a house, what's gonna happen?" He asked sarcastically. I laughed and shrugged. "yeah yeah mr. man. I'll be back in a hour or two and then we are getting your stuff, alright?" I said while kissing his cheek. I nodded and kissed my forehead. "Now go." He said with a smile and patting my hip. I smiled and walked out shutting the door. I grabbed my keys and ran to the garage hoping on my motorcycle. I threw my helmet on and started the engine. I was finally going to go see Austin...
"Knock knock knock." I said softly at the door. "E-Emma?" I heard Austin's sweet voice mumble. I opened the door and went into the room. "It is you.." He whispered as a smile crept over his face. I felt tears in my eyes as I ran over to the hospital bed. "Austinn!" I cried excitedly as I tackled the poor kid with a hug. "Austin oh my fucking gosh it's so good to see you. Your voice.." I whispered while hugging him tightly. I felt him laugh and hug me back. "It's amazing to see you." He whispered in my ear while rubbing my back. "Austin what happened.." I whispered in a shock. He lightly pulled me onto the bed and moved over. That's when it happened. This was all too familiar. I couldn't take it. My mind raced back to when Jason was in the hospital. The very first time we realized we liked each other. The first time we became... us. I was overwhelmed and just sort of shocked. I must have passed out.
"Emmaaaa?" I heard Austin sing as I came to. "Uh what?" I said while sitting up and rubbing my head. "Oh phew, you're okay. You passed out sweetie." He said while running his fingers through my hair. I looked around, I remember now. "Ohh.. I'm sorry.." I mumbled while blushing. He laughed and shook his head, "Don't be. How are you Emma?" He asked while looking at me. I sighed, "I dunno.. I'm good I guess... You still gotta tell me what happened." I said while turning on my elbow and looking at him. He sighed and smiled a bit, "Alright but it's a long story." He said with a tiny chuckle. "I don't mind." I simply stated. He drew in a breath and started. "I'm not too sure on all the details, I'm going off of what I remember and the very little information Stokes gave me. But here we go..."
"So you were at your car, someone hit you over the head, and when you woke up you were in a pitch black room, stabbed?" I asked in dismay. He nodded and sighed. "When I called you, I had been awake for a while but I had no idea what to do. I didn't think I had my phone and I was just confused as shit. But then after I called you.. I passed out. I must have lost too much blood I guess, but then I woke up here. And now... I'm here." He said with a cheeky smile. I smiled and hugged him. "I'm glad you're okay." I whispered into his neck. "Thanks baby." He whispered while running his hand down my head and rubbing my back. I sniffled and looked at the clock. Shittt.. It's been 2 and a half hours. I pulled out and sighed while smiling at Austin. "You should better get some rest, when are you allowed out?" I asked. He shrugged,"Tomorrow I think, I'll be in school Monday for sure." He said with a sigh. I laughed a bit and kissed his cheek. "I'll see you soon Austin, text me." I said with a quick smile and hopped off the bed. "Bye gorgeous." He whispered as I blushed. "Goodbye Austin." I smiled and left.
*JASON'S POV*
I sighed to myself as Emma left. This morning she asked if we could stop fighting. Of course I said yes, I hate fighting with her. It makes me feel shitty. I flipped through the channels, once again there was nothing to watch. No surprise there. I laid back as Jersey Shore came on. This show was complete shit yet so entertaining. (favorite show ever) I laughed as Vinny and Pauly D pranked the entire house. I wonder what Austin and Emma were talking about... Probably what happened, but there could be something else going on... couldn't there? I sighed and looked out the window. Why am I letting my girl go hang out with other guys? Yeah I'm trusting but obviously with our past, Austin and I clearly didn't get along. I thought about it for a second then got up. I shut off the tv while grabbing my shirt and throwing it. I grabbed one of her keys off the desk and walked out.
I was sitting on a swing in the park and sighed. My life was just such a complicated mess. I miss my parents more than anyone knows, my brother has been gone for months, and don't even get me started on Andrea. I was swinging slightly while just thinking. "Jason? Jason McCann is that you?" The voice called out. No... It couldn't be... I'm going crazy. I shook my head and sighed. Great now I'm hearing things. "Well fine hi to you too." She giggled while placing a hand on my shoulder. IT WAS HER...... "Andrea?" I whispered in almost disbelief. "Hey sweetie." She responded with a weary smile. "I missed you." She whispered. "I missed you too!" I exclaimed while hugging her. She chuckled and wrapped her arms around my neck standing on her tip toes. Her touch.. her smell... Oh Gosh how I missed her. "What are you doing here?" I asked so surprised. "Well..." She started.

*Emma's POV*
"Jason forget I said anything!" I exclaimed trying to reassure him. I felt guilty for bringing it up. I just was curious. He always mumbled it in his sleep.. "N-no it's okay.." He whispered looking at the ocean. "Jason I'm sorry, I was just curious.. I really don't wanna ruin anything." I said quickly started to feel really bad. He chuckled to himself lightly and shook his head. "No no Emma, I'm sorry I didn't mean to react like that, that was a little much. Andrea.. she is my ex girlfriend." he finally said. Oh. So he dreams about his ex girlfriend... "Oh." I whispered looking at my food. He frowned. "Baby I'm over her. I have been." he said reaching out his hand and touched mine. "Then why do you whisper her name in your sleep?" I asked almost below a whisper. He sighed and sat back in his chair. "I don't control my dreams Emma." He said almost a little annoyed. "I'm sorry." I whispered quickly scared to fight again. He sighed and rested his elbows on the table. He ran his hands through hair and pursed his lips making a raspberry noise. He looked over at me and sighed. "Emma..." He mumbled. I tried to put on a smile but it came out as a weary smile. "It's nothing Jason." I whispered. "Baby don't do this." He muttered. "Do what Jason?! I didn't do anything.." I whispered. He groaned and slammed his hand on the table. I jumped a little and looked at him shocked. "Why do you have to do this?!" He yelled a bit. "Jason what are you talking about?!" I asked shocked. He sighed and shook his head. "Forget it Emma." He muttered and got up. "Jason where are you going.." I whispered in disbelief this was even happening. "For a walk." He simply stated and left. Left me again. By myself. WHY DOES HE ALWAYS DO THAT.
I walked along the waves lonely and cold. Why can't Jason and I ever get along? It's as if one second we're in love, the next we hate each other. I just don't understand why.. I stopped and stared out into the ocean with only the moonlight reflecting off the water. I wrapped my arms around my body and shivered to myself. I thought about Austin.. I missed him. I needed to visit him soon. I was lost in my thoughts when I felt someone's arms wrap around me and pull me to their warm body. I felt their chin form into my neck as their warm breath hit my skin. "I'm sorry.." He whispered in my ear. Jason. I sighed. Even though I was upset with him I wanted to forgive him. I slightly smiled and placed my hands on his arms wrapping them closer. He was so warm. "You cold?" He questioned with a chuckle. I smiled and nodded. He unwrapped his arms and placed his jacket around me. He slid his arm around my waist and kissed the side of my head. "Ready to go?" He inquired. I nodded with a yawn. He smiled and walked me home. "You're staying over right?" I asked as I searched for the key to my house. He smiled wearily and nodded. "If you want me too." He whispered leaning his forehead on mine. I sighed resting my hand on the door handle and turning to face him. "Jason... I told you to move in with me. Please baby I can't bare having you on your own." I whispered running my hand down his cheek. He placed his hand on mine and smiled. "Baby.. I don't want to impose on you." He sighed. "You're not! Now tomorrow morning I'm taking you home and you're getting the rest of your stuff.. Alright?" I said with a chuckle. He smiled and nodded. "yes mam." He whispered with a smile. I smirked and took his hand. We went inside and upstairs. We collapsed on my bed. We lay on our sides facing each other. He placed his hand back on my cheek after moving a piece of hair out of my face. He smiled and leaned in kissing me. I smiled and kissed back. We rolled over and I lay on top of him with my hand on his chest. His one hand rested on my hip as the other carressed my cheek. I remember why we always made up.
*JASON'S POV*
She lay with her head on my chest under the covers as I ran my fingers through her hair. I sighed and looked at her amazing beauty. I smiled to myself and kissed her forehead. I carefully lifted up her head and scooted down. I laid her back down and wrapped my arms around her. I hugged her tight then drifted off to sleep with this beautiful girl in my arms.
I woke up the next morning feeling little puffs of breath hit my stomach. I laughed to myself and opened my eyes. Emma was curled in a ball facing me. I smiled running my hand down her cheek and sighing. Why do we always fight..
*EMMA'S POV*
I woke up the next morning still in my dress. I stretched my arms and yawned while smiling at Jason. "Hey sexy." I joked while pecking his cheek. He grinned and laughed. "Hey gorgeous." He shot back. I blushed and tackled him on the bed. "Can we promise to stop fighting?" I groaned with a slight smile. He laughed and nodded. "Of course beautiful." He cheekily grinned again. I smiled and cupped his face kissing him. "Thank youu." I whispered while rolling off. He smiled and nodded. I lay down laying my head on his chest like usual. "What should we do today?" I questioned while staring at the ceiling. He sighed and shrugged. "We could do anything to be honest.. Picnic, walk, swimming, basically anything." He said with a chuckle. I smiled and turned over. He looked at me, "Wanna visit Austin?" he offered. My eyes lit up at the thought. "Jason.." I whispered.

Part 17 -Jason McCann Love Story- ~Unknown Love~
I sighed and put my fingers to his lips. "I'm sorry baby.." I whispered shutting my eyes. He chuckled softly and sat up. I grabbed my phone and answered, "Hello?" There was yelling and distress all throughout the background. "Hello? Emma?" The familiar voice answered. "Please tell me what happened... He just stopped talking to me! Where is he?!" I asked worried. "It's alright Emma he's with us now, at the hospital." They said calmly. "What is he doing there?" I whispered faintly and worried. "Emma, he got shot. We believe he was part of a gang shooting, when they found out they shot the wrong person they took him and threw him where we found him. He's resting now." I took in a deep breath and sighed. "Alright, thank you so much sir, erm what's you name?" I asked politely. He chuckled to himself a bit, "Nick Stokes." (; He replied. "Thank you Mr. Stokes.." I said with gratitude. "Of course sweetheart, I reckon I'll see you soon?" He asked a bit amused. I laughed to myself a bit, "Yes sir. Thank you again." I replied with a smile. "You're very welcome miss, see you soon." With that he hung up, and so did I. I sighed laying down knowing Austin was okay, it settled me down a bit. I shut my eyes as thoughts ran throughout my head. I snapped my eyes open and found little ol Jason hanging above me smiling. "Everything okay?" He asked while kissing me. I smiled and ran my fingers through his hair and kissing him back. We pulled apart and I cracked a smile, "Now it is." I laughed. He smiled and rolled me over so I sat on top of him. I laid down so my head was on his chest and his arms were wrapped around me. "Jas... I'm sorry for doing this. I'm sorry for always being such a pain and a bother, I'm sorry for hurting you. Thank you so much for being there for me." I blurted while squeezing him tighter. He smiled and ran his fingers through my hair, "Not a problem my dear." He whispered. I smiled and kissed him lightly. "You deserve better.." I mumbled while laying down. He furrowed his eyebrows and looked at me seriously, "No, I've got everything I need right here." He said with a smile. I "Awww'ed" and kissed him with my hand on his cheek.
"It's a surprisee! Just get ready." He yelled on the other side of the door. I rolled my eyes and got in the shower. Jason had most of his clothes in my guest room since I always insisted he stayed over. He went over there to get ready and I stayed in my room. I let the warm water run down my body and wake me up fully. I finished up and got out wrapping a towel around my body, and my hair. I went through my entire closet and finally settled on this outfit, http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=45150467 and I did my hair like this; http://hipster-l0ving-belieber.tumblr.com/post/19046976340 (remember she has looonngg brown hair) I smiled at myself in the mirror as I did my make up. I liked my outfit and I loved my hair today. "Babe can I come in?" He asked while knocking on the door. I finished my make up and smiled. "Yup it's open!" I yelled back while getting up and spraying perfume. I twirled around and then stopped looking at the door. I smiled and blushed while looking at the ground as Jason stared at me, jaw dropped. "You look gorgeous." He whispered while walking closer. I smiled and kissed his cheek. "Thank youu!" I said back. While giggling. He smiled and took my hand walking me down the steps and out the door. "So where do you think we're going?" Jason asked as we walked down the street. "Hmmm I really don't know Jason." I laughed while hugging his arm and walking next to him.
I stood there, jaw dropped and shocked. "Awww Jason!!" I exclaimed while jumping on him and hugging him. He walked me, carried me, and piggybacked me, all the way to the beach. This kid. Not only the beach, he had a VERY romantic table for two candle lit dinner right.on.the.beach. I was shocked. Jason did this? We walked over to the table and he pulled my chair out for me as I sat down. I raised and eyebrow at him and smirked. He sat down across from me and furrowed his eyebrows. "Hmm?" He asked amused. I chuckled and shook my head. "This is NOT the Jason I knew a few weeks ago.." I said with a smirk at the end. He laughed and playfully rolled his eyes. "People may change." He whispered while looking at the ocean. I sighed and looked at the sunset. "It's beautiful." I mumbled. "It is." He sighed. I smiled and looked down at my plate. "You know, you're doing things to me. I don't know how you do it, you cause me to do things I never would have ever imagined I would do for any girl in a million years. How do you do it?!" He begged jokingly while leaning in. I smiled and shrugged while leaning in as well, "I'm just amazing." I joked. He laughed and sat back. "Jason... remember when I told you everything, no question?" I asked with hope. He nodded and looked at me, "Uh huh?" He answered. "Can I ask a question?" I replied. "Go ahead sweet cheeks." he said with a smirk. I laughed and shot him a joking glare. I sat back in my chair with my arms crossed staring into the sunset. I looked for the right words and searched the sky. "Jason..." I started. "Yeah sweetie?" He replied. I could feel his eyes staring at me, waiting for the question. "Jason, who's Andrea?" I asked quietly.. I finally looked at him, and he was shocked. Oh no...
*Jason's POV*

Jason sat up and looked at me with a worried look. I quickly picked my phone back up. "What do you mean he's missing!?" I said trying to stay calm. They sighed, "Look he was last seen at the beach with you. Since then he hasn't been found. We're not saying you did anything, cause we have witnesses saying you left alone. We're asking maybe he mentioned going somewhere to you?" They asked politely. I took a few seconds to take everything they just said in. "He didn't mention a thing.." I whispered. They sighed again and yelled something to someone. "Thank you so much for your cooperation. We will call you if we find anything else out, may I ask one thing." He questioned. "Yes?" I answered. "We're you two close?" He asked. I swallowed, "Very." I replied shortly. "Alright, I'm sorry, we will keep you in touch. Thank you." He said then hung up. I hung my phone up and sat in disbelief not believing a single thing that just happened. "Emma..?" Jason questioned coming closer. I looked to him and let him wrap his arms around me as I leaned on him and a single tear fell on my cheek. "Austin's missing.." I whispered. I felt his arms tighten around me and kiss my head. "I'm so sorry... It'll be okay. They will find him." He said trying to reassure me. I smiled to myself a bit, knowing it took guts for him to say that instead of bashing on him, cause clearly they did not like each other. I snuggled close to Jason and held his hands in mine. "I love you.." I whispered while kissing his hands. He kissed my head, "Love you too." He mumbled into it. I felt butterflies in my stomach when he said, "Love you too." every time he said I love you, it made me feel all giggly and happy. The effects this boy has on me. I glanced at the clock, it was 11:30 P.M. I was worn out and tired. I laid on Jason's chest as he sat up against the headboard of my bed as we watched tv. His arm was wrapped around me as I laid on him. He was drifting in and out of sleep but my mind never left Austin.I wondered where the hell he could have gone. He didn't say anything about going anywhere... Who would take him? I couldn't sleep thinking he was out there... dead or alive. The whole thing freaked me out. "But you need to sleep baby." Jason pleaded while pushing the hair behind my ear. I shook my head while biting my knuckle griping my phone in my hand. "I can't.." I whispered. He sighed and kissed my cheek. I smiled slightly at him and gripped his hand. "Thank you so much for being so sweet... I'm so sorry for putting you through this.." I mumbled while kissing his cheek. He chuckled to himself, "It's not a problem sweetie. I just hope you're okay." He whispered while pulling me close. I sighed and hugged him, "I'll be fine." I whispered. We turned over and I shut my eyes in hopes I'd get some sleep. Where are you Austin.. I whined in my head.
*JASON'S POV*
I sighed and stared at the ceiling, my eyes darting from every corner of the dark room. I couldn't sleep, I didn't want to. I played with Emma's hair without even knowing and just thought. I was bored and tomorrow was Saturday so luckily we could sleep in. I sighed letting out a low groan. I wish I knew what Emma was thinking.. she was so distraught over Austin and I didn't know how to make her feel better. I mean how am I supposed to comfort her while she's upset over another guy? Like not to be heartless, yeah i hate him, but it is terrible that he's missing, I just wish she cared... less? That sounded heartless. I sighed and rolled Emma over in my arms and stared at her beauty. The way her lips were in a tiny little pout and her eyes were shut lightly yet a fire couldn't wake her up. She lay limp in my arms as I brushed a piece of hair behind her ear. She wiggled a little and her nose twitched a bit. I smiled and laughed lightly to myself. She was so cute.. why does she have to make me feel this way... WHY?! Don't get me wrong I was grateful to have her, beyond grateful, but I had a rep... And she's killing me. She's making me act in ways I never imagined I would. She just makes me feel different.. A good different.. I sighed and placed her gently next to me as I sat up. I took my shirt off and threw it on the ground leaving myself in my mesh basketball shorts. I stood up silently and stretched. I heard her wiggle again then softly groan. "Mmm uh Jas... where you going?" She mumbled half asleep. I bent down and ran my hand down her hair, "Shh I'll be back, I'm going to go get a drink." I whispered while pulling the covers over her. She muttered some sort of okay and fell back asleep. I chuckled quietly and made my way out of her huge room and down the spiral staircase. I remembered back to the day she asked me to move in, maybe it wasn't such a bad offer. Living with that angel, in this house. I made my way to the kitchen and found the gigantic fridge. She really was rich. I saw a bunch of food, fancy water, bottled water, bubbly water, milk, oj, and beer... I reached in and grabbed a beer. I threw the cap in the garbage then went back upstairs. I sat in bed next to Emma and ran my fingers through her hair. I placed the bottle down on the side table and laid down. I shut my eyes tight, Andrea flashed in my mind and my eyes shot open. I looked around and saw Emma, that's when I realized she looked JUST like Andrea... I always knew there was something about the way Emma looked.. I sat up and shook my head fixing my hair to the side. I rubbed my eyes and downed more beer. I can't think about her. I sat against the headboard and ran my hands down my face. I shut my eyes again, and AGAIN I saw Andrea.. her smile.. I heard her laugh.. Felt her kiss... her warm hugs.. I shot my eyes open and shook my head. I got more beer... and more beer.. trying to shake Andrea from my head, before I knew it, nothing was left in my head. I don't know what I was thinking, to be quite honest, I was drunk. I remember thinking I had to make Emma happy again... Next thing I realized I was hovering over her, with her pinned flat on the bed on her back with her wrists in my hands. I leaned down and kissed her neck smiling on her skin. She stirred under me and looked up. "Mmm Jason what are you doing?" She mumbled still clearly half asleep. I smiled and kissed her lips. She woke up.
*EMMA'A POV*
I woke up feeling someone's pressed against my neck. I stirred and felt someone on top of me. I looked up and groaned. "Mmm Jason what are you doing?" I mumbled wanting to go back to sleep. He continued to kiss my neck then she kissed me on the lips. I was awake. I sat up and he pushed me against the headboard without breaking the kiss. My wrists were in his hands pinned up against the board next to my head. My legs were outstretched in front of me and he sat on top of them, our bodies pressed together. I placed my hands on his chest and tried to push him off of me. "Mmm no Jason stop what are you doing?!" I groaned while finally getting him off of me. "Emmmaaaa" He slurred in my ear while kissing my neck. I turned my head and groaned as he pushed against me. That's when I saw it. The empty beer bottles on the table. "Jason! Have you been drinking?!" I demanded. He snickered and shook his head. "N-Nooooo" He stuttered/slurred in my ear. "Jason!" I yelled at him while hitting his arm. He looked at me puzzled and tried to kiss me again. "No Jason stop it. You're drunk." I said while laying him down next to me. He was worn out now. His eyes shut and I kissed his forehead. "Why Jason.. Please don't go down that rode." I whispered while running my hands through his hair. I laid down next to him and felt his arms wrap around me. His head rested against me as he slowly fell asleep. I smiled and rested my hands on his. "Night luvie." I whispered while drifting back off to sleep.
"Hello?" I answered quickly while sitting up. "Miss Anderson?" A familiar voice answered the other line. "Yes?" I replied while making sure not to wake Jason and his probably aching head. "Miss Anderson we would like-" They started but I cut in. "Uh could you hold on once second please?" I said politely as the other line beeped. I switched lines and my heart stopped. "A-Austin?" I stuttered. I felt my breath draw short in shock. "Oh Emma you don't know how good it is to hear your voice." He groaned out. "Austin where are you! The police are looking for you, you're a missing person's now!" I yelled worried. I heard Jason groan and shift. I "shhhed" him while running my hand through his hair to try and put him back to sleep. He twisted around a bit then fell back asleep. I sighed and waited for Austin's response. "L-Look Emma it's hard to explain." He said sounding exhausted. "How Austin?! YOU'RE MISSING!" I yelled but actually felt happy on the inside that he thought of me & called ME. "E-Emma look I just-" I stopped him. "Please just come home.. Or tell me where you are.. please Austin.." I whispered into the phone. "Emma I can't... Emma I don't know where I am and I don't know how to get home.." He whispered still sounding exhausted. "Austin what happened.." I pleaded now getting worried. "I don't know.." He whispered. I heard the other line beeping. "Austin don't you dare hang up, I'll be right back hold on one second." I sort of ordered. "Okay lovely.." He whispered. I smiled to myself and switched lines. "AUSTIN CALLED ME!" I yelled at the guy on the other side. "WHAT?! Where is he?!" He asked shocked. "I don't know, HE doesn't know! You have to help me, something's wrong and he can't get home!" I whispered almost in tears. "Okay okay, go back on the phone with him, we will track his call just go." The guy said. "Okay." I replied and switched back to Austin. I heard heavy breathing and a small groan in pain. "Ahh fuck.." he cursed under his breath. "Austin.. sweetie." I said trying to get his attention. "Oh baby you're back." He mumbled. "Yeah, yeah I'm back, Austin talk to me, what do you remember after being with me on the beach." I said trying to keep him with me. "I honestly... I remember walking to my car but never actually getting in the car.." He mumbled as if trying to remember. I kept him talking but every now and then he had a little groan in pain and cursed under his breath. "Austin?" i asked after a moment of silence. "Austin Matthews?" a voice boomed on the other end. "Austin?" I whispered. "Austin it's okay we've got you. What happened?" The familiar voice asked. There was dead silence. "Austin, boy you here?" The voice called. "OH MY GOSH!" Someone screamed. "GET HIM AN AMBULANCE, NOW!" The man's voice yelled. "AUSTIN AUSTIN AUSTIN!" I screamed after hearing that. The line went off and that annoying noise went on. I hung up and hugged my knees. "What happened to him.." I whispered to myself.
"Good morninggg." I greeted Jason as he finally rolled over. His head was in my lap and he lay between my legs with my hands on his cheeks. "Uhhh my head." He groaned while placing his hands on mine. I laughed to myself a bit and kissed his nose. "That's what you get when you get drunk." I whispered. "I what?" he asked confused. I laughed again and rolled my eyes. I ran my hands down his face to his chest and leaned down kissing him. He kissed back and I slowly drew up letting the kiss linger. He raised his head a bit trying to keep kissing as I smirked holding my head just an inch higher. He shot me a playful glare as I stuck my tongue out at him. "Are you okay?" He asked while laying his head back down on my thigh and shutting his eyes. "I'm alright, they found Austin.." I whispered. He opened his eyes and looked at me. "You're lying?" He said shocked. I smiled and shook my head. "That's amazing!" He said happily. I laughed a bit and nodded. "What's still wrong then?" He asked with his eyes shut again. I furrowed my eyebrows at him. "I can tell." He said with his eyes still shut. He knew me too well. "I dunno... he called me before they found him and he sounded like he was in pain, then I was still on the phone with him when they did find him but they said they needed an ambulance for him and he didn't respond when I said something to him.. Something's wrong.." I said with a sigh at the end. "At least he's safe now though." Jason added. I sighed again and nodded. "At least he's safe.." *JASON'S POV*
I walked off without looking bad. It just made me so angry how she never wanted to open up and always pushed me away when I wanted to help. I know I shouldn't be this angry but I was. I sighed realizing how much we fight.. and we never even properly make up, we sort of just push it to the side. I felt bad for just leaving her there, but she wouldn't tell me the truth.. I was hot headed I'll admit it, I always have been one. I just don't know anymore.. I was afraid to loose Emma. I've been with a lot of girls, but NONE of them have ever made me feel the way she does. She's such a sweetheart.. I don't understand why we always fought. I sighed and continued walking. I finally sighed and stopped at Emma's house feeling guilty after walking around for hours. I was going to apologize. I walked up the steps and knocked on the door. No answer... I knocked again and waited.. I waited a good 10 mins, no answer. I grew annoyed and decided to call her. I sat down on the fountain edge and swung my feet while hanging them off the edge. "Hello?" She answered. "Emma? Where are you?" I asked trying to stay calm. "Uhhh.. Why?" She asked, which only ticked me off more. "Why? Because I came over to fucking apologize and you're not even fucking home." I growled. "O-Oh. I'm s-sorry. I went out.." She said shakily. I felt like she was lying. "Look Emma if you want this relationship to last we NEED to talk." I said with a sigh. "I know.. We do just uh-" She was cut off. "What? *in the background* well do you want me to take you home babe?" I heard some GUY say. "Emma who the hell are you with?!" I yelled. "Look Jason I'll be home in 2 mins.. goodbye." She whispered. "Wait Emma!" I sighed as she hung up. I sat and turned around now looking at the fountain. I sat criss crossed apple sauce and stared at my reflection. I sighed thinking about Emma. Who was she with.. it was killing me on the inside. I waited about 10 mins and finally a heard a car pull up. I didn't bother turning around, then curiosity got the best of me and I wanted to know who the hell she went out with. But I was too late, they pulled out of the driveway and was gone before I could even see them. I caught a glimpse of Emma walking my way with her head down playing with her thumbs. I turned back around and waited for her to come to me, I wanted the truth and I wasn't gonna leave without it. No matter what.
*Emma's POV*
Lucas dropped me off at my house and quickly kissed my cheek. I blushed and sighed in relief knowing Jason didn't see. I walked with my head down playing with my thumbs, walking towards Jason. I was trying to figure out what I was going to say to him. I did NOT want to lie to him, but if I told him the truth about who I was with, it would hurt him. And if I told him the truth about my past, Lucas would never forgive me... Why was my life so confusing? Why was Jason all of a sudden getting so nosey? But I didn't want to loose him.. I sighed as I finally reached him. He was sitting on the fountain staring at his reflection. He had to have seen me because as I reached my hand out to touch him he turned around and grabbed my wrist. I looked in his eyes and the sweet Jason who was always there to comfort me was totally gone. I saw sadness, hut, and bitterness. "We're going inside." He ordered. I trembled a little and nodded. He pulled me to him and we walked inside. We went up to my room and he pushed me in shutting the door. I sat on my bed as he paced the room. "Look J-Jason I-" He cut me off. "Shut up Emma.." He whispered. He didn't yell, he just simply wanted me to stop talking. "Jason.." I whispered hurt and in dismay. "No Emma stop. I'm so sick of listening to you make up bull shit or just distract me and changed the subject when I want you to tell me the truth. I don't understand why you don't just trust me Emma.." He said angrily. I sat in silence for a few seconds taking in everything he said and cause I wasn't sure if I should talk yet. I drew in a breath. "Jason I want to tell you.. I want to tell you my past cause I know you care, I know you'll listen-" "Then why don't you tell me!" He shouted clearly frustrated. "Cause Jason it's not only my choice! There's other people involved that don't want me to tell you!" He looked taken back. "So you guys talked about it?! Who am I gonna tell Emma?! WHY CAN'T YOU TRUST ME?!" He boomed at the end making me jump a bit. "Jason please.." I whispered grabbing his hand. He looked at me then grabbed it back. "No Emma." He replied dryly. "What am I a dog now?!" I yelled getting angry. "Well you're acting like a bitch.." He muttered. My eyes grew wide in anger. "Jason stop! Just stop! Why do you care so much about my past!? Why can't we just forget it?!" I screamed. "Cause I care! I WANNA KNOW WHY YOU'RE SO OVER PROTECTIVE AND WHO SCREWED YOU UP SO BAD THAT YOU'RE SO BROKEN NOW! Okay I care.." He mumbled at the end. I was now taken back. "How could you tell.." I mumbled while sitting down on the bed with my head down. He walked over and sat next to me. "Cause.." I heard him start off while twisting his hand. "Cause I could tell. Even when we would just fight there was something on your mind.. When the whole Austin thing happened, you have a past and I know it's bothering you. Last night wasn't the first time you had a dream like that.. " He said while bringing his hand under my chin and having my eyes meet his. The sweet Jason was back, and I felt more comfortable. I slowly moved my hands on his and this time he didn't pull away. It was time to come clean, I was sick of fighting and hurting him. "Jason.. I was with Lucas. That's who took me home." I started.
His eyes grew wide and he opened his mouth to say something but I covered it. "You want to hear my story?" He nodded. I sighed and took my hand away. He looked at me intently and was waiting. I took a deep breath and looked at him. "So ever since I was little, me and Lucas have been friends. Like best of friends. You know the story, best friends become, boyfriend girlfriend? Well yeah that's what happened. Anyway.. After a few months me and him were driving with my little sister and-" Jason cut in obviously interested. "You have a little sister?" He asked curious. His eyes were full with curiosity and worry. I chuckled to myself a bit, "That's what I'm getting at Jas." I whispered while patting his hand. He smiled slightly and let me continue. "So we were driving... and this drunk driver, driving a truck, ran a red light and hit us straight on the side, the side Angela was on.. She instantly died from the hit, while me and Lucas survived." Jason's expression changed and became sympathetic. I felt tears in my eyes while I was talking and chuckled a little while wiping one that fell away. "So uhm, anyway, then Lucas went a little.. Crazy. He continued to blame himself for everything that happened and wouldn't let it go. He wouldn't sleep or eat for days and days. He stopped talking to me, calling me, texting me, for 2 whole months. After that out of nowhere he calls me. But he started drinking.. and when Lucas drank.. well he became violent. He uhm.." I stopped as I felt a tear fall thinking about the past just got me emotional. "You okay?" Jason asked sweetly. I smiled and laughed a bit and nodded. "Uhm so yeah, uh, he called me and we hung out that night.. He was drinking and he hit me... He hit me and TRIED to rape me but my parents called in time.. Uh then-" Jason was shocked and cut me off. "How long did he hit you... Em.?" He asked in dismay. I mumbled in such a low whisper while trying to keep my voice from breaking and the tears away, I said,
t-two m-months.." I barley got out before I felt all the tears pour out of my eyes. I covered my mouth with my hand as I started crying, hard. I felt Jason wrap his arms tightly around me and kiss my head. "Shh I'm so sorry.. Oh my gosh.." I felt my body shake as I sobbed silently with my hand still over my mouth. He rocked me and after a few mins I finally stopped crying. I sucked in air and wiped my tears away. "I'm sorry Jas.." I whispered. "Don't be sorry." He replied while moving a piece of hair behind my ear. "You know you don't have to continue if you don't want to.." Jason suggested. I shook my head. "I've told you this much, I might as well go on. He took my hand and smiled. "So then after 2 months of being told I was disgusting, ugly,worthless, a slut, I finally ended things with him. He was moving anyway so I thought it was best. Anyway, but then I met you," I paused and smiled at him. He smiled wide an rubbed my hand with his thumb. "So then, remember that night you told me to go home, and like get some rest and stuff then come back the next day?" I asked. He nodded, "Yeah?" "Well okay, that night I was walking home, and I ran into Lucas.. He came back I guess and he hadn't changed.. He hit me that night too... and kissed me. That's why I had bruises everywhere. I didn't hit any poles or walls, he hit me.. I saw him the night of the dance too. I was coming out of the bathroom and ran into him. I was sick of being pushed around so I tried standing up to him... Haha, yeah not a good idea.. That's where the other bruises came from.. Then-
"Then I told you to go, ALONE with him to buy food.. Shit Emma I'm so sorry!" He interrupted. I smiled a little. "No no Jason don't apologize, yeah at first he pushed me around a little.. and yeah, but we made up that night. And he finally stopped hitting me. We met up after that, but I was 2 and a half hours late cause that was the night they let you out of the hospital, and I sort of forgot about meeting him... After I did meet him we talked, and worked everything out. I forgave him and now were friends again, and that's everything that happened. That's why I was having nightmares every night, because I just kept remembering my past, it happens a lot. I'm sorry I never told you the truth and I'm sorry that I lied to you, I just didn't know what else to do.. And then Austin was confusing my life just as much as all of this and I was just... lost." I whispered at the end. He nodded and then tackled me with a bear hug. I laughed and hugged him back. "Thank you for telling me that... You're so strong you know that right?" He asked while rocking me. I smiled, "I've heard that.." I whispered. "I'm sorry for being so rude earlier, I was just so frustrated. I'm sorry." He said with a sigh. "Don't even worry about it." I said sweetly and kissed his cheek.
"Hello?" I answered with a little annoyed. Jason continued to kiss my neck. I laughed and tried to push him off. He smirked and tried to tickle me. I slapped his hand and shot him a glare. He smiled and laid next to me. "Emma Anderson?" I heard someone on the other line reply. "Uhm yes?" I answered a little confused. "Do you know a Austin Matthews?" The man replied. "Yes why?" I asked now sitting up. "He's missing." They replied. I dropped my phone and stared at the wall in disbelief. Those words replaying in my head, "He's missing."

I kissed him back and smiled. We finally drew apart as my hands pressed against his chest and he pulled me closer. "Did you just say..." I whispered. He shushed me by putting his finger to my lips and nodded. "Please don't break my heart." I mumbled into his chest as I hugged him. He hugged me back and kissed my head. I could have sworn he said, "I won't." But maybe I was just imagining things. We sat back down on the bed. We flipped on the tv and grabbed some snacks out of the mini fridge and just hung out and relaxed for the day. He leaned against the back of my bed and I leaned against his chest. I smiled up at him and he smiled back down on me. "Jas.." I said while holding his hand and playing with his fingers. "Yeah babe?" He asked not taking his eyes off the tv. I sighed. I didn't know what to say. The whole night I spent thinking about how Austin treated me like a princess.. How he was so sweet when he talked to me, and patient with me. Jason wasn't a horrible person, far from it! I loved him, but he was opposite of Austin.. He was short tempered, and sometimes I just felt like he was completely bored with me.. But he said I love you to me tonight.. I don't know... I was scared to loose him though.. i was lost in thought and just thinking when he tapped my arm. I lifted my head to look up at him as he yawned. "Babe, it's already 10 P.M." He mumbled while fighting to keep his eyes open. "Go to sleep sweetie." I whispered while laying down on his chest. He ran his hand down my cheek and kissed my head. "Goodnight baby." he mumbled into my head and laid back. I felt him move around then place his arm around me. I smiled to myself and snuggled close. "Night Jas.." I whispered then fell asleep.
*JASON'S POV*
I yawned and felt my eyes shut. I was beat man. But come on.. I had to stay awake for the plan.. I felt my eyes shut as I drifted off to sleep.. I woke up about 2 hours later I guess and the tv was off and Em was asleep in my arms. I got up and found her clock on the side table. I disabled the alarm clock and smiled to myself. I had a big day planned for us tomorrow. I laid back down and wrapped my arms around her and pulled her closer. "Mmm L-Lu.." She mumbled and trailed off. What is "Lu-Lu"? I furrowed my eyebrows and tried to sleep it off. "No! no stop!" She mumbled while twisting around and kicking. I sat up and looked at her. "Uhh Em stop." I mumbled while holding her down. "NO LUCAS STOP!" She screamed while kicking and screaming. "LUCAS"?! What the hell is going on! "Emma, baby wake up. Emma!" I yelled while shaking her. She kept screaming and crying, "Emma stop!" I yelled worried. She finally stopped moving but lay limp in my arms. "Emma... Emma baby wake up." I whispered while moving her hair out of her face. "I'm sorry Jason.." She mumbled then rolled over. I hugged her tight and held her up with me all night long. She was fast asleep and there was no sign of her waking up any time soon. I gave up and laid us both down and kissed her. "Please tell me the truth.." I whispered then fell asleep exhausted.
*EMMA'S POV*
I woke up the next morning with pillows on the floor and the blankets a mess. I remember having a horrible dream.. Oh man.. Jason lay beside me fast asleep, he looked exhausted. I sighed as I ran my hand down my face and rubbed my eyes. I stretched and looked at the clock. I think my eyes popped out of my head... "WHAT?!" I screamed. "WHAT, WHAT, WHAT IS IT! EMMA?!" Jason yelled as he shot up. "Jason it's 11:30!! We're 4 hours late for school!!" I yelled. "Oh. Eh we'll try again tomorrow." He shrugged and fell back down covering his head with the blanket. I smacked him and shook him. "JASON THIS ISN'T FUNNY!! Why didn't my alarm go off?!" I questioned while starting to investigate my clock. "Oh woah uh you know faulty clocks. Happens. Look it'll be fine, it's one day." Jason reasoned while taking my clock out of my hands. I groaned and buried my head in my hands. "Jas.." I whispered. "It's all gonna be okay. Go get ready and stuff, I'm taking you out." He said sweetly while kissing my cheek. I sighed and nodded. I got up and grabbed my phone going to the bathroom. "1 missed call from Lucas." I read. Oh shit. I quickly dialed his number and heard the annoying ring. "Have you always been off time since I left?" Lucas joked answering the phone. "I'm sorry! But hey WHAT WERE YOU DOING IN MY WINDOW YESTERDAY?!" I yelled in a whisper. He laughed, "Oh! That. Yeah I needed to talk to you yesterday, but meet me at the lake tonight, 7. Please don't be late." He pleaded. I sighed and bit my lip. "I won't." I promised. I knew he was smiling, "Okay, see you babe." He said then hung up. I sighed and got ready for my day. I finished putting my make up on and walked out in my room to find Jason changed into, Black skinnys, purple supras, a white tee with a leather jacket over it and a beanie. I smiled and kissed his cheek. "You look cute." He said. I blushed and hugged him. "Alright, you ready for the surprise?" He whispered in my ear with a hand behind his back. I bit my lip and nodded. He took out a blindfold and tied it around my eyes. "Jasss!" I groaned with a giggle. He laughed and kissed my cheek. He took my hand and took me downstairs and out the door. He walked me all the way to the pier, just talking and making sure I didn't hit anything. Finally we stopped and I could hear the sound of the waves. I smiled, I love the beach. He finally untied the blindfold and I smiled wide. He took my to my favorite pier, with games and a carnival was here! "Awww Jason thank you!!" I said while jumping on him. He chuckled and hugged me as well. "Anything baby, but.." He whispered. "Uh oh.." I mumbled while pulling away. "Look.. sit down." He muttered while taking my hand and leading me to a bench. "Emma.. last night.. Why did you scream, "Lucas No!" In your sleep?" He questioned looking deep into my eyes clearly searching for a answer. "Oh uh.." I whispered while playing with my fingers. Now what do i do.. I drew in a deep breath and sighed. "Look Jason it's complicated.." I whispered while playing with my fingers. "Please don't lie.." He whispered back. "Jason you just wouldn't understand.. it's a long, long, long, painful story.." I mumbled. "So there's a story to it?" He asked lifting his eyebrows. "Jason look there's a lot of shit from my past I wish I could tell you and make you understand but I can't! I just can't! I wish I could but I honestly just can't..." I said distraught. He looked at me in dismay then turned angry. "So you don't trust me?" He asked. "No Jason I do, I just.." I drifted off. "I get it." He said while angrily standing up. "No Jason you don't!" I yelled in tears while standing up as well. "Look Emma I'm tired of your bull shit! I'm tired of your lying, your running around, your secrets! I'm sick and tired of trying to be there for you but you just push me away!" He yelled getting mad. "Jason that's not true!" I said as tears filled my eyes. "It is Emma and you know it." He hissed. "Jason please you just don't understand!" I screamed. "Whatever. Call me when I will understand." He growled while turning to walk away. "No Jason don't!" I cried while grabbing his arm and pulling him back. He spun around and shot me a glare. He yanked his arm back and stocked off. "You're just going to leave me here Jason?!" I screamed as he walked away. "Jason!" I cried as he continued without looking back once. "Jason.." I cried in a whisper as he left me there standing alone and embarrassed.
"Please I just wanna go home.." I whispered through tears into the phone. "Okay baby I'm on my way.." He replied. "Thank you so much." I whispered then hung up. I walked along side the beach holding my shoes in one hand letting the water run over my feet. I sighed and dropped my shoes to the ground and wrapped my arms around myself shivering a bit. I sighed and looked out into the ocean. How did I manage to screw everything up? This was supposed to be a good day and now it's ruined. "Anderson?" A voice called from behind me. I turned around and laughed to myself a bit. "What are you doing here?" I asked with a smile. "What are YOU doing here?" He retorted. I cracked a smile and hugged him. He hugged me back and kissed my forehead. "You okay?" He asked as if sensing there was something. I sighed and shook my head. "No.. to be quite damn honest no I'm not okay." I replied with a sigh. "Wanna tell me what's wrong?" He said with a smile and his hand under my chin. I shrugged and looked into the distance. "Me and Jason got into a fight and he's mad at me now.." I whispered. Austin gave me a sympathetic look and wrapped his arms around me once again. "It'll be okay. I promise." He whispered. I smiled and just hugged him tight.
"Thank you so much for picking me up." I whispered while climbing into the car. "Of course Em, now what's wrong?" Lucas asked as he started driving. "Tell you when we get to the lake?" He smiled and half chuckled while nodding. We turned up the music and blasted it while "singing" along. We got to the lake and he opened the door for me. He helped me down and wrapped his arm around my waist and walked me down to he dock. I sighed as I looked at the water and the reflection. I saw Lucas lean over me and smile as we looked at our reflections in the water. "Okay so..?" Lucas said while leaning against the dock. I took a deep breath and nodded. I told him everything about the dream, the fight, what Jason said, what Austin said, everything. "You can't tell him Emma!" He said worriedly. I shook my head, "I know I can't.. That's the problem." I whispered. He sat up and took my hands into his and looked deep into my eyes. "Look Emma I'm sorry I put you into this position and I'm sorry I ever let it get that bad, but please.. You can't tell Jason. He'll hate me forever." He whispered. I nodded. "I know, I wouldn't.. I just don't know what to tell him now.." I cried while gripping his hands. "But forget about it, you still need to tell me why you were in my window yesterday!" I said while half laughing. He chuckled and pulled me to him. I was sitting in his lap with his arms around me. "Oh that, me and my girl were fighting, but we made up. I was just upset. Sorry if I bothered you and McCann." He said with a wink. I laughed and hit him. "Funny." I said sarcastically. He smiled wide and laughed. "I am funny." He joked. We spent the night talking and laughing, just like the old times.. which I missed so much. "HEY I JUST MET YOU, AND THIS IS CRA-" My phone started ringing. "Hello?" I answered. "Emma? Where are you?" Jason asked over the phone. CRAAAAP.
I kissed him back and smiled. We finally drew apart as my hands pressed against his chest and he pulled me closer. "Did you just say..." I whispered. He shushed me by putting his finger to my lips and nodded. "Please don't break my heart." I mumbled into his chest as I hugged him. He hugged me back and kissed my head. I could have sworn he said, "I won't." But maybe I was just imagining things. We sat back down on the bed. We flipped on the tv and grabbed some snacks out of the mini fridge and just hung out and relaxed for the day. He leaned against the back of my bed and I leaned against his chest. I smiled up at him and he smiled back down on me. "Jas.." I said while holding his hand and playing with his fingers. "Yeah babe?" He asked not taking his eyes off the tv. I sighed. I didn't know what to say. The whole night I spent thinking about how Austin treated me like a princess.. How he was so sweet when he talked to me, and patient with me. Jason wasn't a horrible person, far from it! I loved him, but he was opposite of Austin.. He was short tempered, and sometimes I just felt like he was completely bored with me.. But he said I love you to me tonight.. I don't know... I was scared to loose him though.. i was lost in thought and just thinking when he tapped my arm. I lifted my head to look up at him as he yawned. "Babe, it's already 10 P.M." He mumbled while fighting to keep his eyes open. "Go to sleep sweetie." I whispered while laying down on his chest. I yawned and felt my eyes shut. I was beat man. But come on.. I had to stay awake for the plan.. I felt my eyes shut as I drifted off to sleep.. I woke up about 2 hours later I guess and the tv was off and Em was asleep in my arms. I got up and found her clock on the side table. I disabled the alarm clock and smiled to myself. I had a big day planned for us tomorrow. I laid back down and wrapped my arms around her and pulled her closer. "Mmm L-Lu.." She mumbled and trailed off. What is "Lu-Lu"? I furrowed my eyebrows and tried to sleep it off. "No! no stop!" She mumbled while twisting around and kicking. I sat up and looked at her. "Uhh Em stop." I mumbled while holding her down. "NO LUCAS STOP!" She screamed while kicking and screaming. "LUCAS"?! What the hell is going on! "Emma, baby wake up. Emma!" I yelled while shaking her. She kept screaming and crying, "Emma stop!" I yelled worried. She finally stopped moving but lay limp in my arms. "Emma... Emma baby wake up." I whispered while moving her hair out of her face. "I'm sorry Jason.." She mumbled then rolled over. I hugged her tight and held her up with me all night long. She was fast asleep and there was no sign of her waking up any time soon. I gave up and laid us both down and kissed her. "Please tell me the truth.." I whispered then fell asleep exhausted.
*EMMA'S POV*
I woke up the next morning with pillows on the floor and the blankets a mess. I remember having a horrible dream.. Oh man.. Jason lay beside me fast asleep, he looked exhausted. She grabbed my hand and we ran to the cafeteria. When I got there, there was a huge crowd of kids all surronding something shouting "FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT, PUNCH HIM! KICK HIM! YOU CAN DO IT MCCANN! LETS GO MATTHEWS!" "What the hell?!" I screamed but the chants blocked me out. I looked desperately at Faith and she looked just as worried as me. I shoved,elbowed, and pushed my way through the crowd till I came to the center. Where Jason and Austin were on the floor rolling around throwing punches with bloody lips and noses. "JASON, AUSTIN WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?!" I screamed. Neither of them even bothered to even look up at me. I saw Matt and Jack, (Jack is Austin's friend) trying to help break it up. I ran up to them. "Help me stop them!" I pleaded. They both nodded. We went to the middle of the circle and nodded. Jack went up to Austin and tried to pull him off, Matt with Jason. "GUYS STOP IT!" i screamed while trying to push them apart and get in the middle knowing they wouldn't punch me. "Stop it!" I yelled again. "You're such a pussy Matthews!" Jason yelled while Matt held him back. "At least i get some unlike you McCann!" Austin yelled back while trying to break free from Jack's grip. "I'll believe it when I see it!" Jason said while struggling to break free as well. "GUYS STOP!" I screamed. They finally acknowledged I was there. "What!?" Jason growled. "Stay out of it!" Austin hissed. "I will not you dumb bitches." I yelled assertively. They both snapped their heads at me. "Now, why the hell are you two idiots fighting?!" I yelled. "Cause Matthews face is a punching bag!" Jason yelled angrily. "It's cause McCann's ass is too easy to kick." Austin retorted. They both glared at each other trying to break out and kill one another. I groaned. I walked over to Austin and nodded to Jack to pull him back away from Jason. "Austin look-" He grabbed my chin and kissed me as hard as he could. I was shocked and stood there then pushed him off. "AUSTIN WHAT THE HELL?!" I yelled. He smirked at me. "THATS FUCKING IT!" Jason screamed. Jordan yanked my arm and pulled me to the side. good thing he did, Jason came charging at Austin and knocked him to the ground. They started punching he shit out of each other again.
"It's what you get.." I whispered while dabbing ice on Jason's eye. "I was winning." He said pridefully while wincing. I sighed and shook my head while putting the ice down. "You were in no condition to be fighting like that.." I mumbled. I sighed and put my hand on his cheek inspecting him. "You're lucky you didn't break your nose." I warned. He shrugged and sat back. He had a bloody nose, a black eye, swollen hands, and bruised cheeks. "Jason.." i sighed. I can't believe they did this. He laid back on the nurses bed and rested. "I'll be back.." I whispered then went out of the room. I went into Austin's to check on him. I felt responsible for everything that happened, to both of them. "You awake?" I whispered while shutting the curtain. He groaned and looked up. "Yeah I'm okay.." He mumbled. I walked over and dabbed his eye with a wet towel, and wiping the blood away from his nose. I took care of his busted lip. "Are you okay?" i whispered while he gripped my wrist as I put pressure on his eye. He sighed and nodded. He chuckled to himself, "I was winning.." He mumbled. I chuckled. Him and Jason were so prideful. "I'm sorry Austin.. I should have said something or told you sooner.." I mumbled. "No, it's fine Emma, you had a right not to tell me, I can't even begin to understand how hard of a situation you must have been in." He said sweetly. I smiled and sighed, "You don't even know.." I whispered while icing his eye. "Look.. I'm sorry for fighting Jason.. and I'm sorry for kissing you like that.. I was just trying to get even.. I'm sorry.." he whispered while maneuvering his hand to hold mine. I sighed placing the ice pack down and nodded. "It's alright Austin, if anyone should be apologizing it's me. I really am sorry.." I said while squeezing his hand. He sighed and shook his head. "Don't be.." He whispered while squeezing my hand. I smiled and hugged him. He winced but hugged back. "Look.. call me if you need me. I hope you're okay."I whispered while running my hand down his cheek. He sheepishly smiled and nodded. "I'll be okay Em." He kissed my cheek then stood up. "McCann is one lucky guy to have you." He whispered, then walked out. I sighed and slumped in the chair.
"Jason you're lip.." I whispered while walking back in. His lip was swollen and cut. He looked at me and shrugged. "It'll go away." He said flatly. I thought about the way Austin treated and talked to me, and the way Jason did. It's not that Jason was rude or mean to me, but the way Austin talked to me was like... like he cared. Don't get me wrong Jason had his moments, like in the hospital, but sometimes he just seemed bored or uninterested with me.. I sighed and sat on the edge of the bed holding his hand. "Jason.. I'm sorry.." He furrowed his eyebrows and sat up swinging his legs over the edge and pulling me to him. "Why are you sorry baby?" He asked while wrapping his arms around me and resting his chin in my shoulder. I shrugged and sighed. "I dunno.. I just am." I sighed. "Well don't be baby.. It was fun." He chuckled. I sighed and laughed a little to myself. "You coming over Jason?" I whispered. He looked at me with a smile and nodded. We stood up and left the nurses. We walked out holding hands and laughing, all the way to the parking lot.
"Oh wait hold on." I said while jumping out of the car for a second. I ran and got my skateboard from the closet and ran back into the car dumping it in the back seat. "Baaackk." I giggled as he kissed my cheek. "Missed you cutie." He joked. I smirked and slapped him. "Just drive crazy. I laughed out. He smiled and changed the gear then pulled out and drove. "Urghh we have homework." I groaned while leaning my head on my hand. "Babe, you're kidding me right? I'm coming over. No homework will be done." He said with a smirk and a laugh. I rolled my eyes and giggled. We got to my house and parked inside the gate. We ran inside up to my room and collapsed onto the bed. He wrapped his arms around me and pulled me to his body laughing and kissing my neck. (you know one of those typical laughing scenes from a movie?) I giggled and held his arms to my while hugging back. "Jason.. Homework.." I mumbled while kissing his hand. "Noo babe. Remember what happened to having fun?" He said while winking. I laughed and rolled over on top of him. I laid with my hands on his chest and my hair hanging next to his cheek leaning down, our faces inches apart. "I-I love you.." I blurted out. He slightly smiled and kissed me. "I-I lo-" he was cut off. "Emma?! You in there?" I heard a stressed voice call out. My head shot up and looked out the window. "Shit." I whispered under my breath. "Who now.." Jason mumbled sounding annoyed. "Uhmm no one!" I giggled covering his eyes. "Uhmm I have a surprise!" I said nervously. "Knock it off Em." He said half annoyed trying to push my hand off. "Shh noo hold on!" I said while pushing a pillow on his face. "EMMA!" He shouted angrily while throwing the pillow on the ground. I jumped off shakily standing there looking at Jason. "Emma what is going on!?" He yelled. I was shaking as my eyes darted around the room. "Emma come on you there?" The voice yelled outside of my window again. "Alright really who is that?!" Jason yelled while starting to the window. "N-No!" I yelled while grabbing his wrist and kissing him. I felt him sort of stand there for a second then kiss back. I opened my eyes and say Lucas standing on my roof. I gave him a worried roof and motioned for him to go away. I motioned telling him that I'd call later. he nodded and hopped off. "Look I'm sorry... i was just afraid you wouldn't say I love you too." I lied. He chuckled and nodded. He rested his hand on my cheek, "I love you too Emma.." He whispered nad kised me again. He had a bloody nose, a black eye, swollen hands, and bruised cheeks. "Jason.." i sighed. I can't believe they did this. He laid back on the nurses bed and rested. "I'll be back.." I whispered then went out of the room. I went into Austin's to check on him. I felt responsible for everything that happened, to both of them. "You awake?" I whispered while shutting the curtain. He groaned and looked up. "Yeah I'm okay.." He mumbled. I walked over and dabbed his eye with a wet towel, and wiping the blood away from his nose. I took care of his busted lip. "Are you okay?" i whispered while he gripped my wrist as I put pressure on his eye. He sighed and nodded. He chuckled to himself, "I was winning.." He mumbled. I chuckled. Him and Jason were so prideful. "I'm sorry Austin.. I should have said something or told you sooner.." I mumbled. "No, it's fine Emma, you had a right not to tell me, I can't even begin to understand how hard of a situation you must have been in." He said sweetly. I smiled and sighed, "You don't even know.." I whispered while icing his eye. "Look.. I'm sorry for fighting Jason.. and I'm sorry for kissing you like that.. I was just trying to get even.. I'm sorry.." he whispered while maneuvering his hand to hold mine. I sighed placing the ice pack down and nodded. "It's alright Austin, if anyone should be apologizing it's me. I really am sorry.." I said while squeezing his hand. He sighed and shook his head. "Don't be.." He whispered while squeezing my hand. I smiled and hugged him. He winced but hugged back. "Look.. call me if you need me. I hope you're okay."I whispered while running my hand down his cheek. He sheepishly smiled and nodded. "I'll be okay Em." He kissed my cheek then stood up. "McCann is one lucky guy to have you." He whispered, then walked out. I sighed and slumped in the chair.
"Jason you're lip.." I whispered while walking back in. His lip was swollen and cut. He looked at me and shrugged. "It'll go away." He said flatly. I thought about the way Austin treated and talked to me, and the way Jason did. It's not that Jason was rude or mean to me, but the way Austin talked to me was like... like he cared. Don't get me wrong Jason had his moments, like in the hospital, but sometimes he just seemed bored or uninterested with me.. I sighed and sat on the edge of the bed holding his hand. "Jason.. I'm sorry.." He furrowed his eyebrows and sat up swinging his legs over the edge and pulling me to him. "Why are you sorry baby?" He asked while wrapping his arms around me and resting his chin in my shoulder. I shrugged and sighed. "I dunno.. I just am." I sighed. "Well don't be baby.. It was fun." He chuckled. I sighed and laughed a little to myself. "You coming over Jason?" I whispered. He looked at me with a smile and nodded. We stood up and left the nurses. We walked out holding hands and laughing, all the way to the parking lot.
"Oh wait hold on." I said while jumping out of the car for a second. I ran and got my skateboard from the closet and ran back into the car dumping it in the back seat. "Baaackk." I giggled as he kissed my cheek. "Missed you cutie." He joked. I smirked and slapped him. "Just drive crazy. I laughed out. He smiled and changed the gear then pulled out and drove. "Urghh we have homework." I groaned while leaning my head on my hand. "Babe, you're kidding me right? I'm coming over. No homework will be done." He said with a smirk and a laugh. I rolled my eyes and giggled. We got to my house and parked inside the gate. We ran inside up to my room and collapsed onto the bed. He wrapped his arms around me and pulled me to his body laughing and kissing my neck. (you know one of those typical laughing scenes from a movie?) I giggled and held his arms to my while hugging back. "Jason.. Homework.." I mumbled while kissing his hand. "Noo babe. Remember what happened to having fun?" He said while winking. I laughed and rolled over on top of him. I laid with my hands on his chest and my hair hanging next to his cheek leaning down, our faces inches apart. "I-I love you.." I blurted out. He slightly smiled and kissed me. "I-I lo-" he was cut off. "Emma?! You in there?" I heard a stressed voice call out. My head shot up and looked out the window. "Shit." I whispered under my breath. "Who now.." Jason mumbled sounding annoyed. "Uhmm no one!" I giggled covering his eyes. "Uhmm I have a surprise!" I said nervously. "Knock it off Em." He said half annoyed trying to push my hand off. "Shh noo hold on!" I said while pushing a pillow on his face. "EMMA!" He shouted angrily while throwing the pillow on the ground. I jumped off shakily standing there looking at Jason. "Emma what is going on!?" He yelled. I was shaking as my eyes darted around the room. "Emma come on you there?" The voice yelled outside of my window again. "Alright really who is that?!" Jason yelled while starting to the window. "N-No!" I yelled while grabbing his wrist and kissing him. I felt him sort of stand there for a second then kiss back. I opened my eyes and say Lucas standing on my roof. I gave him a worried roof and motioned for him to go away. I motioned telling him that I'd call later. he nodded and hopped off. "Look I'm sorry... i was just afraid you wouldn't say I love you too." I lied. He chuckled and nodded. He rested his hand on my cheek, "I love you too Emma.." He whispered nad kised me again. Did he just...?
